Reichsfuhrer SS 10 Year Presentation Book

Presented here is a one of a kind
book which was put together by the SS department heads and personally presented
to Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler on the 10th
anniversary of his promotion to RFSS.
The images below are taken from a
color copy that has been made of the original book. The original book is for sale, the color
copy is for reference and was sent to me for examination and to share sample
pages. The Book is leather bound and in
excellent to very good condition and has a custom made leather binder (made by
a collector) to protect it. The size of the book is approximately 240mm x 315mm
and it consists of 168 pages.
Some background on the book;
This book was put together by all
of the SS department heads as a personal gift to Himmler to celebrate his 10th
anniversary as Reichsfuhrer SS. The book itself is a collection of
personal narratives from each department head detailing their service with the
SS and Himmler. It is a
conglomeration of handwriting, calligraphy and typing and is accompanied by
many inserted photos, event tickets, etc.. This is not a published and/or printed
book, it is handmade and the only existing copy. The pages are the actual hand written
pieces and all photos have been attached, similar to a photo album. Over 20 senior SS officers have
contributed their recollections and have autographed dedications, to include;
