Luftwaffe Evening Dress Gala Uniform of Generalmajor Christ Complete formal dress, gala
evening uniform for Generalmajor Torsten Christ, a
highly decorated officer who was awarded the Knights Cross, German Cross in
Gold, Spanish Cross in Gold with Swords, Pilots Badge, Iron Cross 1st
and 2nd Class, and the Blood Order! Grouping includes his jacket with gold
bullion aiuguillette, both white and blue-grey
vests and long pants. The jacket,
pants and blue vest each have a tailor tag with
Christ’s name handwritten inside. The jacket features all celleon insignia and piping with matching maker-marked
gold pebbled buttons and closure chain.
Both vests have gold pebbled buttons, the long pants have the wide,
gold brocade stripes down each outer leg. A contemporary white tuxedo shirt
and bow tie are included, as is an attached medal bar (not known if this is
original to the jacket). Other
medals shown are for display only and not included. Consignor reports he obtained this
uniform from the collector Jim Jones, who acquired many Generals uniforms
directly from the Generals themselves back in the 1960’s and
70’s. Torsten Christ was
promoted to Generalmajor very late in the war,
January of 1945, and is not documented in the Rangeliste,
however the promotion document survived the war and
a photo is in the listing. |

Kriegsmarine Konteradmiral
Formal Evening Dress/Gala Jacket Formal, mess dress/gala jacket
privately tailored in dark-blue wool with wide lapels and an open front with
button/chain closure. The sleeves
each have gold brocade lace sleeve rank bands, one large ring at the bottom
and one narrow ring stacked above, for the rank of Konteradmiral,
additionally a gold bullion embroidered star is positioned above the stripes,
indicating a Fleet Officer. A gold bullion hand-embroidered eagle on
dark-blue backing completes the insignia. There are two rows of four gold
buttons, marked with fouled anchors, and two buttons with chain to close the
front. The jacket is lined in
black rayon with striped sleeves, a tailors label
for “Th. Thöl” of Kiel as at the
neck, with an additional name tag in the inside pocket, though the
Admiral’s name has been carefully cut-out. Includes a waffel-pattern white vest with gold KM buttons. Medals are for display only and not
included. |

Heer Generalmajor Tunic An exceptional tunic in near-mint
condition with just one small flaw; a very small abrasion to the upper right
back shoulder. The six-button
front tunic is privately tailored from a very fine, heavy gabardine wool with
scalloped and pleated pockets, French cuffs, bottle-green collar
and maker-marked matching gold pebbled buttons. The right breast features
loops for a German Cross in Gold/Silver and there are loops for a ribbon bar
and four awards on the left breast and pocket. The insignia on this tunic is
outstanding, with a beautiful finely embroidered breast eagle in gold bullion
wire with just very slight age toning.
The General officer collar tabs are also embroidered in fine gold
bullion wire and exhibit a slight age darkening as well. Shoulderboards
are of bright gold bullion with silver-aluminum soutache inner cords. All insignia appear original to the
tunic with no evidence of previous insignia or promotional upgrades. There are no tailor or name tags, so
it is unattributed. The tunic is
a smaller size and will not fit most contemporary male mannequins. If you are one of those collectors who
only pursue absolutely mint items, this piece will
probably fit your criteria. |

Heer General’s Long Pants Stone-grey, high-quality tricot
wool long trousers, four-button hidden front fly with tape/clasp closure,
slit waist pockets and a single rear slit pocket with button closure.
Adjustment waist straps with rear buckles. At each outer leg seam is a single
red piping stripe bordered by two larger stripes (lampassen)
of red wool badge cloth. The interior is unlined, bag pockets of grey cotton,
one pocket has a tailor tag with the owner’s name in ink, though it is
indecipherable. The waist has an elastic tape reinforcement
and the inside of each ankle cuff also has tape reinforcement. Condition rates as very good, there
are a couple of moth nips to the red lampassen on
the right leg. |

Luftwaffe General Officer Visor Cap This visor has great
shape to it, exhibiting a nice crushed look with a tall
peak, giving it the appearance of a pilots visor. Cap body is blue-grey
regulation tricot wool and piped in gold celleon
around the crown and center band. The visor is a black lacquer with the
typical brim stitched reinforcement leather trim, and a black checkered
underside. The cap eagle and
wreath are hand-embroidered in gold celleon, the
wreath with bullion accent thread highlights and a metal cockade with red
insert. Gold cello chin cords are affixed by gold pebbled buttons at each
side. The inside is lined in
dark-blue rayon, the sweatshield is intact and
underneath is marked to August Müller, though much of the gold foil logo
has worn off. It has a grey
leather sweatband perforated at the forehead area, with a silk tie at the
rear. The lining is sewn in with
long stitches with no evidence of removal, previous holes or alterations and
has left thread impressions on the underside of the sweatband. |

Police General’s Visor Cap Police-green doeskin wool visor
cap for a General officer in the Polizei. The cap is an “Erel” from
the distributor “Hans-Dürbeck” and
the cap body is in overall very-good condition with just a few, small pinhole
sized holes in the front centerband. The insignia
consists of a two-piece, 2nd pattern gold metal eagle/wreath,
above that a metal cockade with red wool center, and gold metallic mesh
piping around the crown and centerband. The
interior is lined in gold rayon with the maker and distributor log impressed
under the sweatshield. The leather sweatband is
also foil stamped to “Erel”.
The lining has some soiling and ink marker damage and there is a bit
of corrosion to the gilt finish eagle.
Size is approximately a 56cm.

Waffen SS Senior/Officer Ranks Field Cap Field grey wool M43 pattern
visored field cap for an officer in the Waffen SS. Exterior is very clean with no damage
or soiling. The crown of the cap
is piped in a silver celleon/nylon basket weave piping, indicating use for
senior rank officers from Oberfurher through General Officer ranks, as well
as field grade and junior officers. Insignia consists of a green trapezoid
eagle and skull machine-woven in a silver grey metallic. Cap scallops close
via a two-button front of silver pebbled buttons. The underside of the visor
is a green cotton fabric. The cap is lined in a grey ribbed rayon material
and size stamped “56”, with a brown leather forehead sweatband
embossed “Extra” at the center front. Excellent to near mint condition. H.

Kriegsmarine Fore-and-Aft Hat for Admirals Formal dress, black felt,
Fore-and-Aft hat and wooden storage box for the rank of Admiral in the
Kriegsmarine. Hat is in the
standard “Zweitspitzhut” early style dating back to the
1920’s, with 1933 style rosette ribbon of national colors. Hat is in excellent condition showing
only some age, as to be expected.
The storage box has had some exterior repairs at the joins on the
sides, but is in otherwise good condition. |

Reichsleiter Collar Tab, 1933-1935 Pattern An exceptionally rare and seldom
encountered single collar tab for wear on the right collar of an NSDAP Reichsleiter. This rank was the second highest political
rank in Germany, second of course only to the Führer, Adolf Hitler. The eagle & wreath are intricately
hand-embroidered in a mixture of silver and gilt bullion coiled wire thread,
the eagle with white accent thread highlights on the wings and chest and a
black thread swastika embroidered over a white field clutched in the eagle
talons below. The underlay is the
regulation carmine/pink reserved for Reichsleiter
rank and is edge piped in gilt bullion twist wire. The reverse has the remains of a white
paper RZM tag. |

Luftwaffe Vehicle Flag for Commanding General of a Luftflotte Two-sided, square flag that has
been removed from the frame and separated into the two halves. These flags were made in mirror images
so that the eagle was always facing forward when viewed. Red cotton cloth base with inset black
and white squares, at the centers are Luftwaffe style eagles
chainstitch-embroidered in light-gold with brown accent threads. Excellent
condition with no stains or damage.
Luftflotte’s were typically commanded
by high-ranking General’s, in the range of General der Flieger, Generaloberst of Generlafeldmarshall.

Generalfeldmarschall von Blomberg
Metal Bust Cast, silvered metal bust of
Field Marshal Werner von Blomberg, depicting him in his early Field
Marshal’s uniform with crossed batons on the shoulderboards
and standard General officer collar tabs which were regulation at the
time. The bust has
three-dimensional relief and shows some wear to the finish at the high points
yet is very impressive. The
reverse is hollow and has two, long threaded screw posts, one thread still
retaining the nut, for attachment to either a wall, marble display or large
wooden plaque. Blomberg was Hitler’s first Field Marshal, promoted to
the rank on April 20, 1936. Size

Generalleutnant der Polizei shoulderboard A single shoulderboard for a
SS-Gruppenfuhrer und Generalleutnant der Polizei. Board is made from two matte-gold
bullion outercords surrounding and inner cord of silver soutache braid. There
is a single, large General’s style silver pip at the base near the
shoulder seam attachment. Most of
the silver wash has worn off the pip, but can still be seen towards the base
of each side. The board is a sew-in example and still has a single thread
remaining from uniform removal. The underlay is the typical toxic green used
for Police generals. The gold braid has very nice age tone to the gold, as is
typical with this style of gold cord.
The underlay has some wear with a bit of the U-shaped wire visible
near the button loop and some of the cardboard backing visible along the
edges. Very nice, worn example
that has been removed from a tunic. |

Heer General der Panzertruppe Insignia Grouping A full set of insignia for a General
to include shoulderboards, collar tabs, and two breast eagles. My consignor reports that these are
attributed to General der Panzertruppe Hans-Jurgen von Arnim, though there is
no provenance to accompany the grouping.
Boards and tabs are both celleon, tabs have bullion highlights. The boards each have two, large,
silver age-toned Generals pips.
There is a gold bullion hand-embroidered breast eagle on green backing
and a gold metal breast eagle for the white tunic. A modern printed black & white
photo of Arnim is included. The
insignia all has glue residue on the reverse from photo album removal
(excluding metal eagle), but it otherwise in excellent condition. Gold pebbled tunic buttons are
attached with hot glue (no damage to boards). |

Heer Generalmajor Schopper Insignia and Photo A small grouping attributed to
Heer Generalmajor Erich Schopper and obtained directly from the General by the
early pioneer collector Bill McLure.
Included in the grouping are a uniform-removed shoulderboard for the
rank of Generalmajor consisting of matte gold and aluminum interwoven cords
on a bright red backing (with thread remnants from removal) and a signed
photo postcard of Schopper.
McClure obtained a large volume of material directly from many
Generals, Admirals and Field Marshals and is responsible for many of the
attributed uniforms residing in collections around the world. |

Knights Cross Recipient Luftwaffe Generalmajor
Walther von Axthelm Photo Album An absolutely mint condition
photo album belonging to Generalmajor Axthelm
(later General der Flakartillerie), a recipient of
the Knights Cross on September 4, 1941 as Commander
of 1st Flak Corps for support of Guderian’s 2nd
panzer group on the Eastern front.
Red leatherette covered binder with silver drooptail early Luftwaffe eagle embossed on the cover,
bound with red twist cord and two tassels. Photos include a signed studio
portrait of the General and 173 photos commemorating his service at the
front, showing troops in action, civilians in captured territories, troops in
action and the General with staff members, each picture with a written
descriptive caption printed below.
Every album page has a protective tissue covering that is still intact
and crisp. |

Personal Photo Albums of Generalleutnant
Benignus Dippold Five personal photo albums
belonging to General Dippold, covering several periods, to include WWI
service, pre-war and wartime. There are approximately 390 different
photographs and postcards throughout the various albums, depicting military
events, parades, training, leisure and combat situations, studio portraits
and candid personal/family vignettes.
Generalleutnant Dippold commanded the 183rd
Infantry Division from November of 1939 to October of 1941, when he was
wounded on placed on reserve, and upon recovery placed in command of the 117th
Jäger Division from October of 1942 to April of 1943. |

Admiral Puttkamer Leather Coat This visually-stunning
piece, which comes with full provenance, is available once again. It’s
a well-worn, dark green leather overcoat, worn throughout the war by Konteradmiral Jesko von Puttkamer, Naval adjutant to Adolf Hitler and recipient
of the July 20 Wound Badge. It is a Heer
coat, which Puttkamer put Kriegsmarine buttons on,
as he notes in the accompanying provenance “because, at the beginning
of the war, these practical coats did not yet exist for the navy”. A
pair of slip-on Konteradmiral shoulderboards
in celleon are attached to the coat with screw-post
buttons. This coat, along with
three other uniforms and a visor cap, were all obtained directly from Puttkamer by American collector Bill McClure in 1970 and
there is a treasure trove of provenance consisting of letters between McClure
and Puttkamer, customs documents and period, signed
photographs of Puttkamer during the war years with
Hitler and other high ranking personalities. Please click on the photo at left for

Heer Generalleutnant Tunic 6-button front, tailored from
fine tricot field-grey wool, piped in red down the front panel closure, scalloped
and pleated breast pockets, slash hip pockets with flaps. Bottle-green cloth collar with hook
closure and French cuffs at sleeves with gold pebbled General officer buttons
which are all matching maker-marked. The shoulderboards
are sew-in matte gold celleon cord with inner
aluminum soutache braid on a red backing with single, large General’s
size silver rank pips for the rank of Generalleutnant. Collar tabs are hand-embroidered in
gold celleon and machine-applied. The breast eagle is also of gold celleon and hand-applied. There
are loops for a long ribbon bar above the left breast pocket and loops for
three awards on the pocket below, showing soiling from the award attachments
(Note: there were post-war DKiG loops originally
collector-applied to the right breast pocket which have been removed. Tunic is named to “Major E. von
Bogen” (Erich von Bogen) and would’ve later been upgraded to Generalmajor and Generallutenant
upon promotion. There is speculation as to whether General von Bogen was
awarded the DKiG as it is not listed in the
surviving archives, which are incomplete. This German website makes note of the
claim of the award; Generalleutnant Erich von Bogen - Lexikon
der Wehrmacht (lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de) . An EKII ribbon and spange
are applied to the second button. The interior is lined in grey rayon and the
sleeves are lined in typical striped material with a dagger suspension clip
opening provision into the hip pocket for dagger display. Tailor tag at neck,
and name label at inside pocket. |

Heer General der Gebirgstruppe Tunic 8-button front, old-style tunic
tailored from tricot field-grey wool, piped in red down the front panel
closure. Bottle-green cloth
collar with hook closure and French cuffs at sleeves with gold pebbled
General officer buttons which are all matching maker-marked. The
shoulderboards are sew-in matte gold bullion cord with inner aluminum
soutache braid on a red backing with two, large General’s size silver
rank pips. The pips toward the
shoulder button are a brighter silver, indicating upgrade in rank from promotion. Collar tabs are hand-embroidered fine
gold wire thread and machine-applied.
The breast eagle is a nicely aged and toned example rendered in
multi-color gold wire and gold bullion thread with golden-yellow highlight
threads. The left sleeve has an Edelweis hand-applied. There are loops for a
German Cross in Gold on the right pocket, a long ribbon bar above the left
breast pocket and loops for three awards on the pocket below, plus and
embroidered hole for a screwback award.
An EKII ribbon and spange are applied to the second button. The
interior is lined in grey brushed cotton and the sleeves are lined in typical
striped material. There is a an opening provision into the hip pocket for
dagger display, but no hanging strap with clip. Un-named. |

Heer Generalleutnant Uniform A nice, field-worn, tailor-made
tunic of fine tricot field-grey wool, five button front, four patch pockets
with scalloped flaps and pleated fronts.
Tunic is small in stature and sleeve length, but chest and waist are
big enough to fit standard mannequin sizes. Standard bottle-green cloth
collar with hook closure and French cuffs at sleeves with gold pebbled
General officer buttons which are all matching maker-marked to Assmann. The shoulderboards are sew-in matte
gold bullion cord with inner aluminum soutache braid on a red backing with a
single, large General’s size silver rank pip which does not protrude
through the base. Collar tabs are hand-embroidered gold bullion thread and
machine-applied. The breast eagle
is a nicely toned example rendered in gold wire and gold bullion thread with
golden-yellow highlight threads and very neatly hand-applied. There are loops for a German Cross in
Gold on the right pocket, a long ribbon bar above the left breast pocket and
loops for three awards on the pocket below. The interior is lined in grey rayon
and the sleeves are lined in typical striped material. There is a dagger
hanger/clip and opening provision into the hip pocket for dagger display. There is a tailor tag on the inner
breast area, but no name tag. Includes a pair of stone-grey tricot General
officer long pants with the broad, bright red lampassen (Generals stripes)
down each side. six button fly and buttoned tape closure with slit hip
pockets, watch pocket and two rear pockets with button flaps. Inside buttons
and flaps for suspender attachment, partially lined. No holes or damage to either the tunic
or breeches, excellent condition. Consignor reports tunic is believed to have
belonged to Otto Hitzfeld, a Knights Cross w/Oakleaves and Swords recipient,
though there is no provenance associated with it. |

Heer General’s Uniform A beautiful presenting example of
a tailor-made General’s tunic in a larger size which displays very
nicely. Made of a very soft, fine tricot field-grey wool with a five button
front, four patch pockets with scalloped flaps and pleated fronts. Bottle-green cloth collar with hook
closure and French cuffs. The
gold pebbled General officer buttons are all matching maker-marked to
Assmann. The shoulderboards are
the very desirable matte gold bullion cord with inner aluminum soutache braid
on a red backing. There are holes for two pips in each board (rank of General
der Infanterie, etc.), which have been removed. From examining them I think
they were removed long ago, perhaps by a vet who took them as souvenirs of
General’s “stars”. This is how the tunic came to me, but
the pips can be easily restored and I can help with that if need be. Collar
tabs are finely hand-embroidered gold wire and have had the buckram stiffener
removed for comfort around the neck, then hand-applied with hidden stitches.
This is a common practice I have seen with General’s tunics as the
elongated tabs make the collar rather stiff and uncomfortable and removing
the buckram remedies that. The
breast eagle is a gorgeous example featuring a mixture of embroidered gold
wire and gold bullion thread with dark-green highlight threads and
hand-applied. There are loops for
a long ribbon bar above the left breast pocket (bar included, though not
original to the tunic), and loops for three awards on the pocket below. The interior is lined in grey rayon
and the sleeves are lined in typical striped material. There is a dagger
hanger/clip and opening provision into the hip pocket for dagger
display. No tailor tag or name
tag. Includes a pair of stone-grey tricot General officer riding breeches
with the broad, bright red lampassen (Generals stripes) down each side with
zipper closures at the ankles. Four button fly and hook closure with slit hip
pockets and single rear pocket with button flap. Inside buttons and flaps for
suspender attachment, partially lined.
No holes or damage to either the tunic or breeches, excellent
condition. |

Luftwaffe Generalstabsingenieur Greatcoat A stunning example of a greatcoat
for the very rarely encountered branch of Ingenieur’s. While Luftwaffe troop General’s
all utilized white underlay as branch color, the Ingenieur’s wore pink underlay,
which is prominently displayed on this coat as backing for all insignia, and
the broad lapels and piping that really make this piece stand out. The base coat is tailor-made of a very
high-quality, fine tricot blue-grey wool with a ten button, double breasted
front with lower slit hip pockets and flap closure and French cuffs. The rear has a waist adjustment belt
with two gold-pebbled buttons and the bottom vent closes with hidden plastic
buttons. All gold buttons are matching and marked to Overhoff & Cie. The
pink-backed shoulderboards are the late war brite gold celleon and have
single, large General officer-size pips that are gold metal (either the
preference of the General or never had a silver wash applied). The collar
tabs are hand-embroidered in celleon with gold bullion thread highlights,
edge piped in celleon over pink backing and machine-applied. The interior is
fully lined in blue-grey rayon and has a dagger hanger and clip with a
tailor’s label sewn to the outside of the breast pocket (no name tag
inside). There is some moth
damage to the rear exterior of the coat across the back area (see photos) but
it doesn’t effect display from the front. I have sold a few of these tunics over
the decades, but never encountered a greatcoat before…very rare! |

Heer Generalleutnant Greatcoat Tailor-made, heavy, doeskin wool greatcoat
for a Generalleutnant in the Heer.
Coat is of regulation double-breasted style with five buttons on each
panel, slanted side pockets, French cuffs and bright red lapel facings
indicative of General officer rank.
The gold, pebbled General officer buttons are all matching
maker-marked “Extra Fein” and show even wear and age. Shoulderboards are sew-in matte gold
bullion cord with inner aluminum soutache braid on a red backing and single
silver rank pips for the rank of Generalleutnant, secured with gold pebbled
buttons. Overall condition is
good, however there is some damage to the rear, decorative belt which has
rodent damage and there are also a couple of holes in the sleeves (see
photos). The interior is a grey
rayon and has a label for the tailor “Fritsch” of Dresden. The inside pocket has a name tag to
“Oberst Foltmann” and dated January of 1938, which would indicate
Josef Folttmann who became Generalmajor in April of 1939 and Generalleutnant
in February of 1941. The coat was
then upgraded to General with the addition of red facings, shoulderboards and
gold buttons and later pips added when promoted to Generalleutnant. Coat is a smaller size. |

Konter-Admiral Jesko von-Puttkamer White Tunic A stunning white tunic to a Third
Reich personality with provenance!
This white tunic belonged to Admiral Puttkamer, Kriegsmarine adjutant
to Adolf Hitler and recipient of the July 20 Wound Badge for surviving the
assassination attempt on Hitler.
It was purchased directly from Puttkamer in the early 1970’s and

Luftwaffe General Officer Kleiner Rock Beautiful, blue-grey, high-quality,
very fine weave tricot wool Undress tunic or “kleiner Rock”, worn
only by General officers. Double breasted front, with three-button closure,
two side slash pockets, white piped French cuffs and white piped front panel
with two, large white cloth lapels.
The collar is piped in gold bullion twist-cord, all buttons are gold
pebbled, closure buttons with longer shafts, decorative buttons tightly sewn
down. Celleon shoulderboards each with a single, large silver Generals pip
(which do not protrude through the base) and secured with sew-down gold
buttons. Loops for a long ribbon
bar and two award badges. Collar tabs are bullion embroidery with gold
bullion highlights to gulls, hand-stitched with wide stitches to permit easy
removal for laundering. Breast eagle is a nice, high-quality example in
tightly hand-embroidered gold bullion wire over a white underlay. It appears as if the eagle was
restored, as there is a shadow around the outside (and the white backing
glows, so it was probably cleaned at some point too). Interior is lined in blue-grey rayon
with two horizontal breast pockets and a small repair patch machine-sewn. No
name tag or tailor label. Tunic is in excellent condition, no damge. Light
soiling to white lapels. Consignor reports it is believed to be attributed to
Generalleutnant Victor Krocker, though there is no supporting provenance. |

Heer Generalmajor Tropical-Weight Field Tunic Olive-green, high quality cotton
ribbed twill material, made by either a civilian or military tailor for field
use. Five button front with four
pleated, patch pockets, French cuffs, a vented rear and a closed collar in
bottle green wool. The inside is
un-lined and has a stamp on the inside panel of unknown origin. There is a very rare flat-wire
embroidered gold Generals breast eagle on green backing, machine-applied in
the typical zip and flip fashion.
General’s gold wire hand-embroidered collar tabs are also
machine-applied to the collar.
Gold bullion Generalmajor shoulderboards are hand-sewn into each
shoulder seam and secured by gold pebbled buttons. All buttons are matching
and by the same maker. There are
award loops for two breast badges on the left breast pocket. This tunic originally surfaced out of
Europe a few years ago and came with a pair of tropical breeches with the
broad Generals stripes (lampassen) that were matching in size and had clearly
been worn. The breeches were sold
separately some time ago by my consignor. Tunic is in excellent condition with
no holes and just very minor wear. |

Luftwaffe Generalleutnant Erich Kressmann Uniform Privately tailored, blue-grey,
high-quality, very fine weave tricot wool open-collar tunic, piped around the
collar in gold bullion wire twist piping. Insignia is all matching gold, matte
celleon for the rank of Generalleutnant.
Gold pebbled buttons are all matching and by Assmann. Award loops on
right breast for Spanish Cross (Legion Condor Flak commander), loops for five
awards on left breast pocket and long ribbon bar above. Breeches are tailored
from blue-grey doeskin with Zabin zip ankle closures and wide, white
lampassen (Generals broad stripes).
Both the tunic and breeches are each named to Generalleutnant Erich
Kressmann and have matching tailor labels from Averbeck and Broskamp of
Berlin. Condition is excellent
with no holes, mothing or damage.
General Kressmann was commander of the Air Defense Command Berlin/ 1st
Flak Division at the Berlin Zoo flak tower from March through November of

quality wool officer’s cape with
lay-down collar and fly front secured by a series of five tunic size
gold pebbled buttons, all marked “Extra Fein”. There is a front hook and eye neck
closure and a separate cloth strap (bridle) at the neck, buttoned at the back
and secured at the front by a large gold pebbled button. Two gold colored aluminum
“Spainerschloss” buckle fasteners decorated with an eagle’s
head are attached at the upper breast to each fly panel and secured by a gold
chain and hook. The wearer’s left side has a beautiful large, gold wire
and bullion hand-embroidered General’s eagle, flying toward the left,
hand-applied. The collar is not piped and the reverse is grey cloth. Partially lined in blue-grey silk
rayon. Tailors label to “Anton Kinting” of Bad Aachen. In near-mint condition with no damage

Reichsmarschall Hermann Goring’s tunic A stunning private tailor made
white, fine tricot tunic cut in the Kleiner Rock style and attributed to
Reichsmarschall Hermann Goring. This tunic is in absolute near mint condition
with only a few minor, light stains.
Tunic has a matching pair of Reichsmarschall collar tabs of the 2nd
pattern, 1941 design as well as a pair of matching shoulderboards of
Reichsmarschall rank, all outstanding in the quality of manufacture. The breast eagle is the finest example
of a hand embroidered eagle that you will ever see…only what you would
expect from a piece attributed to Goring. Great piece of history that once

SS Obergruppenfuhrer Lorenz Formal Jacket Extremely rare formal evening
dress jacket belonging to Obergruppenfuhrer Werner Lorenz. Jacket is complete with early style
tabs, a pair of shoulderboards with rune marked attachment buttons, the
totenkopf breast badge, an RFSS staff cufftitle, silver piped party armband,
and Lorenz’s WW1 Iron Cross first class. All rune marked buttons are intact as
is the closure chain. Jacket has a Holters tailor tag on back panel and name

fine, high quality doeskin wool in superb condition, except for a small
abrasion above the eagle. It is

gold metal national eagle and wreath with vented cockade. The interior is equally pristine and
has the mint green lining and “Privat” marking you would expect

Cap eagle reflects pre-43 era and is machine woven metallic silver

Heer General der Infanterie Allmendinger Tunic and
Breeches Complete uniform for General Karl
Allmendinger, a Knights Cross with Oakleaves recipient and commander of the 5th
Jaeger Division. This uniform was obtained by Bill Shea and is featured in
his multi-volume series “The Stories Behind The Treasures of
WWII”. Tunic is privately
tailored of a very fine tricot wool in field-grey and is piped in bright red
down the front panel. Six button
front with scalloped and pleated pockets and a vented rear. Insignia consists
of; gold bullion hand-embroiderd breast eagle of the highest quality,
hand-applied, a pair of hand-embroidered celleon collar tabs,
machine-applied, a pair of celleon and aluminum shoulderboards each with two
aged silver rank pips, and a General officer aiguillette in finely woven gold
bullion and wire. On the left
sleeve is a gold Kuban shield on a bottle green backing, hand-applied, from
the days Allmendinger commanded the V Army Korps. Numerous award loops on the
left breast. Includes a pair of long pants with the wide lampassen (Generals

Heer Generalmajor Tunic This is one of the nicest
condition General officer tunics that I’ve ever encountered, a
perfectly preserved closet queen for those of you who insist on mint
condition. The base tunic is a
private purchase six button front with scalloped and pleated pockets made
from a very fine whipcord field gray wool (with more of a gray hue). There are loops for four badges on the
left breast along with ribbon bar loops, and loops on the right breast pocket
for a DKiG. The buttons are all
maker matched gold pebbled and mint.
The insignia is all textbook bullion with almost no age tone, with the
exception of the collar tabs in which the gold wire has just a slight dark
tone developing. The tunic shows
no evidence of prior insignia. It
is un-named and has no tailor labels.
It is a smaller tunic, but fits a standard mannequin torso without struggling
to button it. |

Heer Generalmajor Named Tunic Lightweight field grey field
tunic named to Generalmajor Alexander Bourquin, commander of the 114th
Jaeger Division. The tunic comes
with a letter from the Stars & Stripes combat correspondent who brought
the tunic back from the war, as well as about 50 pages copied from
Bourquin’s personnel files.
The tunic shows quite a bit of wear and fading from heavy field use,
with numerous small holes and snags and a couple stains on the rear. Insignia consists of gold bullion
breast eagle, gold wire collar tabs and celleon shoulderboards that are of
the slip-on variety (with screwpost buttons and tailor-made bridles). The right sleeve features a
crudely hand-sewn cloth Edelweiss sleeve badge. The tunic was tailored in
Prague, Czechoslovakia, as shown on the tailor tag and noted in the letter
from the correspondent. |

SA 1944 Pattern Brigadefuhrer Tunic Brown wool, four pocket open
collar tunic for a late war SA Brigadefuhrer assigned to the Oberste
SA-Fuhrung. The exterior of the
tunic is in excellent to near-mint condition with absolutely no damage or
mothing (the interior does have damage to one lower side). There are a series of loops for a long
ribbon bar and multiple award loops on the left breast pocket. Insignia consists of 1944 pattern
silver hand-embroidered oakleaf collar tabs on a crimson backing and a pair
of matching General rank shoulderboards in white/yellow/white rayon cords on
a carmine backing. The collar is
edge piped in silver aluminum twist cord. Both sleeves have single brocade
sleeve stripes at the top of the French cuffs and the left sleeve has a party

SS Oberfuhrer Collar Tabs, 1st Pattern A pair of absolutely mint,
un-issued collar tabs for the rank of Oberfuhrer in the SS. Oberfuhrer was a unique rank the
equivalent to a Senior Colonel, though allowed the privilege of wearing
General officer headgear. The
tabs are hand-embroidered in silver bullion wire on black velvet backing and
are of the first pattern the SS used for this rank (from 1929 to 1942). The tabs are tied together by two
black strings which are sealed by a metal disk with SS runes on the obverse
side and “B.A.” on the reverse. You won’t find a better set than
these! |

Generalfeldmarschall Shoulderboard A single shoulderboard, for the
right shoulder of a Generalfeldmarschall in the Heer. The shoulderboard is constructed of
brite gold bullion outer cords with an inner aluminum mesh cord sewn to an
underlay of bright red badge cloth.
It is a sew-in example in which the tongue has been removed. A pair of silver frosted crossed field
marshal batons of the first pattern (utilized from 1936 – 1940) are
centered on the board. In very
good overall condition showing some age and toning to the cords, with some frosting

SS Obergruppenfuhrer Collar Tab A single collar tab for the right
side tunic of an SS General officer in the rank of SS-Obergruppenfuhrer /
General der Waffen SS. Tab shows
extensive amount of wear and has been tunic removed. Unterlagen shows through
on oakleaves and bullion is almost completely gone from pips with only the
cardboard unterlagen showing and the base box bullion threads with bits of
bullion still attached.
Originally a screw post tab in which posts were filed off to sew on
tunic. Bits of field gray thread
remain on backside, and the velvet nap is worn down. |

Heer General’s Panzer Wrap Uniform A full uniform for a Generalmajor
in the armored units, or Panzer service, consisting of a wrap around field
jacket and field trousers. Both
jacket and trousers are private purchase, tailor-made from a fine, black
doeskin wool with very high quality detail in construction throughout. The wrap (jacket) has gold bullion
cord piping around the collar (General officer wraps have also been observed
with pink or red piping and with no piping). General officer collar tabs and
shoulderboards are in gold wire and bullion with an even age and tone. The
breast eagle is rendered in gold celleon with black highlights, over a black
backing. There are many loops on
the right breast for awards and a ribbon bar. The left breast has loops for a German
Cross. Field trousers are of
standard design for armoured service with tapered legs and tie ribbons at the
bottom edge. Red lampassen (broad
General officer stripes) are tailored into the pants, providing a stunning
display. Both the tunic and
trousers have evidence of name tags that were removed, but there is no
knowledge as to the name of the General officer. Additional, extensive detail
photographs of the interior of the wrap and trousers are available to those
with serious interest. |

Heer General’s named Tunic and Overcoat A nice, named uniform grouping
belonging to Knights Cross recipient General der Infanterie Friedrich
Fangohr. Grouping consists of a
waffenrock period altered to an old style service tunic, with the addition of
patch breast pockets, slanted side pockets and French cuffs. Tunic has Generalmajor rank insignia,
consisting of celleon shoulderboards and bullion breast eagle and collar
tabs. Fastener hooks were added under the collar for attachment of the
Knights Cross. The overcoat was
tailored for Fangohr in December of 1943 when he was a Generalmajor and
Generaloberst Hermann Hoth’s Chief of Staff of the 4th
Panzer Army. The coat retains the tailor name tag and Generalleutnant
shoulderboards (Fangohr was later promoted to General der Infanterie in
1945). This grouping comes with a
folder of research obtained from the German archives by the veteran’s

Kriegsmarine Konteradmiral’s Greatcoat Full length, dark blue-black cloth
greatcoat for a Konteradmiral in the Kriegsmarine. The coat is constructed from
beautiful, heavy doeskin wool and has the contrasting, bright cornflower blue
lapels indicative of Admiral officer rank. A pair of Admiral shoulderboards are
sewn-in to both shoulders and are constructed of gold bullion cord with inner
silver aluminum soutache braid.
All of the gold Kriegsmarine buttons are present, including the
shoulderboard buttons. The coat
is in excellent to near-mint condition with the only possible flaw being a
liquid spill near the inside breast pocket (which can easily be

Heer Generalmajor Greatcoat Tailor-made, heavy, doeskin wool
greatcoat for a Generalmajor in the Heer. Coat is of regulation style with six
buttons on each panel, slanted side pockets, French cuffs and bright red
lapel facings indicative of General officer rank. The Gold, pebbled General officer
buttons are all matching maker marked and show even wear and age. Shoulderboards are later war, celleon
gold cord with inner aluminum soutache braid and for the rank of
Generalmajor, with sew-in attachment gold buttons. Overall condition is very good,
showing just moderate wear. There
are a few moth nips to the red lapel facings and body of the coat. The interior is an olive colored

Heer General Officer Breeches Very early, 1934 tailor-made
General officer riding breeches by the famous German tailor firm,
Holters. Breeches are stone gray,
tricot fabric with light grey leather reinforcement around the front knee
area. Ankle closure consists of a
vertical double eyelet lace-up and a horizontal three button closure. The broad, red General Officer side
stripe adornments (lampassen) trim the side of each leg and are tailored
around the side slash pocket openings.
The cloth exterior of the breeches are in average to good condition,
with minor nips and snags and one 2.5cm hole in the back of the right
leg. The leather reinforcement
shows some soiling and age, but the leather itself is still very nice and
supple. The breeches are named on
the Holters tailor tag. Overall,
a very early pre-war set of General’s riding breeches showing some
honest wear and age. |

These are the highest quality of embroidery you will ever find on any

Heer General Officer Visor Pre-1942 Erel “Privat” General
officers visor cap, featured in the book “The Collectors Guide to Cloth
Third Reich Military Headgear” by Gary Wilkins. Cap body is made from a very fine,
high quality doeskin wool and is in excellent condition, excellent for a
single moth nip near the piping.
Crown and cap band piping is in gold celleon web. Wreath, cockade and national emblem
are in aluminum. There is no
chincord, and no evidence of one ever being attached. Interior of cap is the
mint green lining of a Privat and is extremely clean. The sweatband has some illegible
markings, the source of which is unknown. Tissue paper is still stuffed between

Heer General’s Tunic & Breeches Complete uniform tunic and breeches
for a Generalleutnant in the Heer.
Tunic is old style 8 button front with slanted side pockets. It was period upgraded from field
grade to General officer rank and had red piping expertly added down the
front panel as well as a field grey rayon collar. The insignia is all bullion and
matching in age and wear. The
single large, Generals size pip has unfortunately been painted gold (likely
post-war collector or veteran addition) and the insignia also has touch ups,
which is why the price is lower than market. There are three loops for a ribbon bar
above the left breast pocket, as well as loops and a screwback hole on the
breast pocket for several combat awards.
The breeches have also been upgraded with the addition of the
General’s lampassen (broad red stripes) and have the remains of the
tailor tag/owners name tag which shows a date of 1937. Both the tunic and breeches are a
larger, portly size, the tunic having a large waist, neck with short
arms. The breeches are
approximately a size 36 |

Soviet Artillery General’s Uniform and Visor WWII era Soviet General’s
M43 uniform tunic, long pants and visor cap, to a Major General in the
Artillery service. This uniform
came out of the former Soviet Union in the early 90’s after the wall came
down and has been featured in the Schiffer Publications book “Soviet
Military Uniforms from 1917 – 1945”. All pieces are in very good condition

SS Police Oberfuhrer Uniform A full uniform (tunic and pants)
for the rank of Oberfuhrer (senior colonel) in the SS Polizei division. This was a unique rank to the SS that
was between Colonel and General, yet entitled the officer many of the
privileges of a General officer.
What makes this uniform incredibly rare is the SS style collar
Oberfuhrer collar tabs on police-green backing. This was instituted in February of
1942 but rarely worn as most officers in the police who belonged to the SS
preferred the black backed SS officer tabs, rather than the green
backing. Both tunic and breeches
have matching name tags and police stampings, but the officers name has been
scratched off the tags. Complete
with officers bandeleir, leather cartouche and officers aguilette. Very rare and in excellent

to Major General Charles Haffner, commander of the 103rd Infantry
“Cactus” Division.
Grouping includes: the very rare 1927
style General officers short overcoat with European Theater Operations
Headquarters patch, Major General’s stars on shoulder straps and
General’s stripes on sleeves; Haffner’s
combat helmet with 2 silver stars soldered on front of helmet; Major General vehicle plate with the
large, WW2 vintage silver stars; a
period photograph of General Haffner in the field. Haffner was commander of the 103rd
from November of 1942 until January of 1945, at which time the division was
taken over by Major General Anthony McAuliffe, famous for telling the
German’s “Nuts” to their surrender request while commanding
the 101st Airborne.

long pants belonging to Dr. Hans-Joachim Barnewitz, who was the Chief Medical
officer of the Afrika Korps and served on Rommel’s staff. Tailor made tunic is dated from 1938,
when Barnewitz was an Oberfeldarzt (Lt. Colonel) and has been upgraded
several times as he was promoted, including the later addition of red piping
and General Officer insignia (brocade belt and hanger not included). All insignia is in bullion and nicely
matching in age and tone. Long
pants with lampassen are included.

Afrika Korps/Tropical Uniform for a Generalmajor Absolutely stunning Holters
tailored open collar tropical tunic and long pants in dark olive for a
Generalmajor serving in the tropics.
Tunic has a tailor tag, but the name has been carefully cut out. Pants show evidence of where the tag
has been removed. Insignia
(shoulderboards and collartabs) are all celleon and textbook, the breast
eagle is one of the most beautiful I have ever encountered being rendered in
two tone gold wire and bullion over a tropical olive backing. Long pants have red General’s lampassen.
Included with the uniform is a M-43 Generals cap, in a different shade of
green, with celleon piping and a celleon cap eagle. The silver bullion cockade has thin
gold piping surrounding it at the base.
Very rare and impressive uniform with all matching textbook insignia. (click on photos

Luftwaffe General der Flieger Kleiner Rock Uniform, named
to Pour le Merite recipient Beautiful formal Luft
General’s Kleiner Rock and long pants named to General der Flieger
Friderich Christiansen, a Pour le Merite recipient of WWI. Doeskin wool tunic with wide, white
General’s lapel facings, white cuff and panel piping down the front and
gold twist piping around the collar. The interior is lined in blue gray
artificial silk with both tailor label and name tag. Long pants have Generals
white lampassen piping down the side seams. Insignia is all gold bullion and
appears nicely matched in age and tone.
General’s Kleiner Rock tunics are extremely rare to find and

Reichsfuhrer SS Collar Tab A single collar tab for the rank of
Reichsfuhrer SS, which was held from 1929 - 1945 by Heinrich Himmler. The tab is for the right collar and is
very tightly embroidered in aluminum wire on a fine, black velvet backing. Only five of the brass bead highlights
remain on the laurel wreath, but otherwise this example is in excellent
condition. There are tiny punch
holes in the upper left and lower right corners indicating that this was most
likely a display piece. Extremely

Waffen SS General Sepp Dietrich’s Leather Coat Leather overcoat and
shoulderboards attributed to well known Waffen SS General Sepp Dietrich. Shoulderboards are of the
Oberstgruppenfuhrer rank (three frosted rank pips) in gold bullion and silver
cording and are of the slip-on
variety (they have been removed from the coat due to fragility of the
underlay fabric). Non-regulation
gold General officer screwpost buttons for shoulderboard attachment, all
others are regulation silver, as was correct for the SS. Dietrich of course,
‘personalized’ his uniforms incorporating some Heer traditions by
utilizing gold to indicate General rank as per the army (Heer) style, instead
of the silver regulated by the Waffen SS. There is a dagger hanger also present
inside the pocket flap. Overcoat exterior, sleeve lining and inner lining all
show much wear and field use.
Coat and separate inside liner both are maker marked. Comes with several pages of provenance
from the veteran who captured this from Dietrich’s home (only one
sample page is shown). Many
period photos exist of Dietrich wearing this very coat. Excellent opportunity to own a very
rare piece of history attributed to a charismatic and highly respected
General officer of World War Two (Sepp Dietrich was commander of the
Liebstandarte Adolf Hitler, which was Hitlers honorary SS bodyguard. |

Luftwaffe Generalfeldmarschall Shoulderboards Pair of shoulderboards attributed
to Luftwaffe GFM Erhard Milch.
Boards are the larger, overcoat size variety with all three cords in
brite gold bullion over a white underlay. Batons are the larger, oversized
variety and are silver cast. In
many period photos and official portraits it can be seen that Milch wore
these larger boards and batons on his tunics. These examples are one of many items

German Heer General der Infanterie tunic, named Tunic, pants and visor cap. Tunic is named to a Pour Le Merite,
Knights Cross and German Cross In Gold recipient Kuno-Hans von Both. It is made from the finest doeskin
I’ve seen. Boards and tabs are bullion and exhibit matching age, breast
eagle is celleon. All buttons are
maker mark matched, no flaws whatsoever on the exterior. There is a minor
stain inside on the interior back panel.
Pants have matching tailor label though do not have owners name tag
and are made from heavy, top grade gabardine. This was a Russian front General and
the whole uniform is made of very heavy weight wool. Just an absolute beautiful, stunning
piece. The Generals visor did not
come with the uniform but is being sold with this as a set. It is an Erel with proper venting on
the inside and outside cockade, constructed from fine doeskin. The medals shown on the tunic are not
included, but available for separate sale. The ribbon bar is a modern made copy

German Luftwaffe Generalmajor Uniform and Visor Extremely rare General’s
Fliegerbluse (Flyers Blouse) tunic, pants and visor cap. Tunic has initials inside, but no
name. Research, based on initials
shows three Luftwaffe Generals during WW2 with these initials. Based on my research, the tunic size
and award loops, it may have belonged to a well known Paratroop General. Tunic is a very finely made lighter
weight gabardine in excellent condition with the exception of a few very
small holes (about pencil point size) that can only be seen upon very close inspection. Tunic is of typical fliegerbluse cut
and has a dagger hanger loop in the left pocket. Boards and tabs are both
bullion, breast eagle is celleon.
Gold bullion piping surrounds the collar, but is smaller than
regulation. Pants are a heavier
weight gabardine showing some use and minor field repairs. White Lampassen are still nice and
bright and free from staining.
Visor may be of government stock, in lesser grade gabardine with no
maker mark. Bullion insignia
shows much age, toning and some mold in places. Entire uniform is more of a field
quality rather than service dress and all pieces match very well to each
other. Medals, belt and holster

Heer Generalfeldmarschall shoulderboards 1st pattern 1938-1940
pair of matching shoulderboards for a Generalfeldmarschall in the German
Army. Batons are stamped of flat
stock silver in the first pattern and also have a silver frosting applied. Shoulderboards are the earlier style
gold bullion with silver inner cord and are of the very rare five loop
variant. These are a larger set
of boards and were probably used on a greatcoat or leathercoat and do show
some slight arching and bending from wear. Boards are the slip-on variety and
also show wear from button attachment.

Heer Generalfeldmarschall shoulderboards These have gone back in the
collection, but pictures will remain up for those who want reference.
Matching pair of slip-on shoulderboards for an early Generalfeldmarschall in
the Army (Heer). This is the 1st
pattern of crossed batons which exhibit a design going back into the
1800’s. This pattern was
officially worn from 1938 up until 1940 when they were replaced by a more
detailed design reflective of the Nazi era. (For more detail on the baton
patterns and dates, see Army GFM
Insignia). The shoulderboards
are of the Reichsheer pattern with the non-visible red underlay. Nicely aged and toned early gold
bullion and silver cords with the silver darkening towards the end of the
boards. Batons are in excellent condition and still show a nice, silver even
appearance. Werner von Blomberg
was the only Generalfeldmarschall from 1930 to 1940 though this pattern was
also utilized by a few of the later promoted field marshal’s. GFM von
Leeb in particular seemed to favor this pattern, perhaps due to his dislike
of the Nazi party. It is unknown

Heer General Officer Visor Pre-1942 Highly desirable, top of the line
Erel “Privat” General officers visor cap. Cap body is made from a very fine,
high quality doeskin wool and is in absolutely mint condition. Piping is in a nice, bright gold
celleon which contrasts well with the aged gold bullion chincord. Wreath and cockade are hand
embroidered silver bullion, national emblem is aluminum. Interior of cap is the typical mint
green lining of a Privat and is extremely clean. The only issue is a cracked fracture
in the sweatband at the forehead.
Tissue paper is still stuffed between the sweatband and the lining and
the sweatband is brittle (as a result, no under-the-hood shots). |

Heer General Officer Visor Pre-1942 Very nice Erel
“Extra” General officer’s visor adorned with the early,
pre-1942 silver officers insignia.
Cap exterior is near perfect showing just the tiniest bit of wear to
the fine wool. Bullion gold
piping and chin cord exhibit even ageing. Insignia consists of a metal, silver
frosted national eagle with a very nice age to the frosting and a silver bullion
hand embroidered wreath. Interior
shows even, honest wear throughout with no major issues. If you’re looking for a pre-42

visored field cap showing a beautiful and very rare flatwire gold eagle sewn
to the crown. Cap body is made
from a very fine wool as you would expect to see on a General’s field
cap and is free of any damage.
The gold eagle is accompanied by a national colors cockade surrounded
by gold piping unique to General officers. Interior has no maker marks and is
lined in a light brown cotton with a soft leather sweatband. Two gold pebbled

Kriegsmarine Admiral’s Greatcoat Cloth greatcoat in dark blue wool
with cornflower-blue open faced lapels indicating officer rank of
Admiral. Coat is a private
purchase piece made from a high-grade soft wool and lined in black cotton. Rank insignia consists of Admiral rank
shoulderboards sewn into the shoulder seams and secured with gold
buttons. Boards are very nicely
age toned gold bullion with aluminum inner cords over a black/blue underlay
and have two large silver pips indicating the rank of a full Admiral. Condition is very good with no
damage. The cornflower-blue
lapels have some small, very minor abrasions which may be moth nips but do
not go all the way through the wool.

Heer Generalmajor Tunic Light, summer-weight tunic for a
Generalmajor in the Heer. Tunic is
a five button front M-35 style tailored in a very light weight, gray/green
cotton twill with a green artificial silk lining. Shoulderboards are finely aged, gold
bullion for the rank of Generalmajor.
Breast eagle is gold bullion with gold wire and yarn highlights with a
matching age and tone. Collar
tabs are hand embroidered celleon with slight age to the artificial gold
thread and some wear showing to the red backing cloth. The tunic has numerous award loops to
both the right and left breast pockets as well as ribbon bar loops. Tailor tag is attached to the inside
chest area but has faded so that the owners name is no longer visible. All original buttons are present and
are maker marked to Overhoff & C.
Tunic condition is excellent, with no damage, snags or repairs, only
some slight soiling where the awards were attached to the award loops. |

Luftwaffe Generalmajor Officers Greatcoat Tailor made greatcoat for a
Generalmajor in the Luftwaffe made of the finest grade doeskin wool and in
excellent condition. Coat
features the wide white, badgecloth lapels and white collar piping,
indicative of a General officer in the Luftwaffe. Also unique to the Luftwaffe was the
use of collar rank insignia on greatcoats, and this coat exhibits two
stunning celleon collar tabs featuring a mixture of celleon with fine gold
bullion highlights.
Shoulderboards are a matching celleon and aluminum cord. This coat would display great with a
Luft Generalmajor uniform, which is a much easier and more common rank to

World War I French General’s Uniform WWI era French General’s
dolman uniform tunic and dress trousers, named to “General
Genolo” and dated 18 of February 1913. The dolman has several moth holes,
evidence of wear and period repairs but is in good condition for a uniform
that is nearing 100 years old!
Bright red, heavy wool pants are in very good condition showing little
wear and age and no major damage.
I do not have any background information on General Genolo, but it
would be a good research project for those who have more time and resources. |

Luftwaffe Generalfeldmarschall Baton Devices A single shoulderboard rank insignia
device for a Generalfeldmarschall in the Luftwaffe. The insignia consists of a pair of
crossed field marshal batons bearing the correct pattern of Balkan cross/iron
cross/wehrmacht eagle that was on the ceremonial batons. The batons are made of cast aluminum
and the attachment prongs have been clipped off. They are the extra large
size, which is common and unique to the aluminum baton devices (silver
batons, in comparison, are about 15mm smaller). |

German General Officer Rank Pips A pair of large General Officer
sized rank pips for use on Third Reich General’s shoulderboards. Both pips are well worn and matching
in age and toning and show evidence of having been removed from shoulderboards. All prongs remain intact and could
easily be used again to restore pips to stripped Generalleutnant boards (or
restore missing pips on higher ranks).
Nice, original pieces, and extremely rare to find a loose, equally
aged matching pair. |

Imperial Imperial era shoulderboards for a
General from the Wurrtemberg province, which show evidence of having
previously been a Generaloberst in the range of Generalfeldmarschall. On the front and back of the boards you
can see where four pips and a center placed cipher have previously been
fastened to the boards, but removed.
There is a nice, even age to the tops of the boards so the devices
were likely removed a long time ago.
